Hot Rod PC's Others Have Built

Here is a gallery of Hot Rod PC's that I thought were very cool.

Handmade Lucite Case

Flames Still Rock. Window has recessed neon lighting.

Canakit LED thermometer to monitor case temps is a nice touch...

Sweet LCD embedded in window...

Cool front panel treatment...

More lucite, in a tower, or with PVC pipe...

I've seen Boom Boxes, but it never occurred to me to have a shoulder strap for my PC!

The kids call it "LAN partying", by the way. They bring their PC's, hook 'em up with a LAN, and play games.

Stealth aluminum anodized Lian Li case hides the drives...

These guys painted logos from their radio-controlled toys onto their PC cases.

The Supreme Soviet: Cold War Super Computer Relic?

A mirrored case...

Like WWII Bomber Nose Art?

Then you'll love "Doris" the neon lit PC babe...

Neon lit, curio cabinet PC case. Very tasty!

Dessert Storm Camo PC, anyone?

NASCAR-theme.

Have you driven a Ford lately?

Quite a PC Game-inspired paint job!

I like fish, but this is wild!

A wild mod that looks like a rack o' stereo gear...

Sweet!

What if we took a NeXT cube and polished the magnesium to look like chrome? Master case modder Cold Dog is the author of this masterpiece...

Radical Industrial Chic!

Wild paint and neon lit window...

The true alpha-geek can custom engineer an LCD status panel for his case...

Chase Lights!

True Insanity: Some modders open their hard disks and put windows on them so you can see the heads seeking! This one was by a guy named Linear, who also built this nice cube to house it:

How about meeting this guy in a dark alley?

EL cable-lit fan array...

This is PSRage's famous gaming rig. Pretty darned awesome!

Cool alien etching!

Cables have a black light lit weed eater line so they glow!

Trinity Cube by Play

This is a broadcast TV studio gizmo. Really a cool look. They're out of business, so I couldn't find a decent pic any more.

Or, you could build a cube completely from scratch using metal sheets...

Windows. Neon. Auto painted chassis. Display window in top of DVD drive. Blue LEDs. Painted case.

Man, that's a lot of work!

Red cable sheaths.

Who says you can't mod a laptop? This fella polished the magnesium case to a chrome-like finish. Very cool!

How about a Hot Rod PC that even looks like a Hot Rod!

This is the church, this is the steeple, open the door, and here is the WHAT?

It's called a Vapochill, and it's a phase change refrigerator unit that'll take your CPU below freezing for better overclocking...

Somehow, I love this pic best of this machine...
