Watsonville Air Show 2003

The show started out cloudy, just like last year, but cleared up around 1pm, providing plenty of time for some great air show acts. While we were waiting, we strolled the static displays where some amazing vintage aircraft could be seen.

B-24 Liberator: Amazing!

In the tail, facing the tail gunners's station...

One of the old turbo surperchargers used on the B-24...

The B-17 Flying Fortress was the other heavy bomber from WWII...

Wild little Beligan Unimog off-road vehicle...

A very rare Messerschmidty Bf109. First one I've ever seen!

Cockpit looks tight!

More Planes!
